A most relevant soliloquy
‘It is sufficient!’, he muttered solemnly and decidedly. ‘Away, spectres! Away, fear! Away, visions! This is life. The reign of reason and light commences now, of will, of force.‘
”Nay, you prefer the life of this world;
Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting.
Verily! This is in the former Scriptures,
The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses).”

These blessed verses were ringing in my head for the past couple of days, but I needed an incident to drive them deep and jolt me up from my slumber.
