On Who Has The Right to Discern And Judge A Good Book- And Therefore, A Good Writer.

Being the writer of a best-seller does not make you a proper little brain of Britain. Or a deep soul.

It makes you a person the average individual reads and likes. The average individual is not philosophical, well-bred, intelligent, sophisticated, well-read – and all such other amiable qualities that we revere.

So is it a compliment to be the creative mind behind a best-seller?

Methinks not.
